Why have a forum?

Well some people have suggested it. Having a place where people can talk about their windsurfing/kiteboarding sessions, the weather etc could be good. Also having the live chat might be cool to talk to people about where to go - Gordons, Cook Street, Nitinat, the Gorge etc. Hopefully it is useful.

Don't worry too much about the joining process - just supply a bogus name and age but the email address should be correct. Hopefully the site doesn't spam us with emails. I haven't read any complaints about it. It was the only free forum site I could find without annoying popup ads.

Let me know if you want to see any more main topics.

how about a category like "the rigging area" or something like that?

that doesn't pin you down to any secific topic, but just a main area where people mingle, geartalk and BS with each other.

peace out!
