Ah yes, well in a perfect world Kus social media would be either gone or much less prominent, unfortunately Facebook is an unreasonably good way at communicating event details :P .

We are just over 24 hours from kicking off Windfest 2019! When attending the event please take these rules into consideration!

1. Sharing is caring. The campsite will be VERY full, please share the space, tetris people into your campsite, and help others find areas to put their stuff.
2. Please park cars in the new "day parking" at the entrance to the new road. If you are tent camping please try to park your car in the parking lots rather than at the campsites to make space.
3. NO BOTTLES OR GLASS ON THE BEACH. Keep glass in your campsite and only bring cans or reusable containers with you to the beach.
4. Use the recycling bins on the beach for your cans!
5. Do not litter, don't drop cigarette butts and pack out what you pack in!
6. Be wildlife aware, keep all of your food in containers and inaccessible. Remember we are in bear country.
7. Please control your off leash dogs and clean up after them.
8. There is NO fire ban on right now. Please practice proper fire safety, do not leave fires burning on the beach and adequately put them out so there is not hot sand for bare feet to walk over!
9. Please stay out of the competition area if you are kiting for pleasure. Go upwind by the schools or river mouth!
AND FINALLY!
10. We are encouraging people to embrace the atmosphere of Nitinat and be OFF THE GRID. We do want our event to be captured and shared but save your internet time for after the event!

P.S. Bring extra toilet paper for yourself! There will be lots of people using the outhouses, you don't want to be left without 💩 ticket.

Thanks for posting this photo Kim.

This pretty much sums up the camping rules. Please respect them.
