Looks great! You are making me want to build a board again. Thanks for posting all the photos during the different stages of construction. I love this stuff.

Thanks 4j and Snarfer for your support. Always nice to feel like others are sharing in the project. 4j I hope you get at another board. It is always fun to see what others are doing. I feel I learn sooo much with each board, although by the time I finish one board I am already excited about the changes for the next board. I will probably leave the race board as is for awhile, but I am thinking about the next Phillet. I plan to lengthen the design and change to race board construction, with a few changes of course. I plan to use a super light EPS core (1 lb. density or less) with a corecell outer shell. I will use epoxy inside and vinyl ester for the outer skin. Kinda like what Polar Bears think of Igloos (crunchy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside).

Looks great! Inspired me to get back to planning out my build! (More of a free race board) Have any good board builder resources? (I'm on swaylocks already)

Hi SmallWaveSteve. I tend to take what I see as the best ideas on boards I have tried and then trundle along on my own. I do try to get the best materials at the best price. Fiberglass Supply in Washington State is pretty much the best resource for local material I have found. The guys that work there have a lot of personal building experience and love to chat.
