Cooling off in the summer heat of Pt Alberni with a refreshing swim in the canal, while kiters are enjoying the warm thermal winds! Summer swimming, kiting, windsurfing, sailing in the Alberni inlet. Canal Beach is looking sooo good from our first year 2010. From grass roots efforts, wind community, local citizens and city and Parks+Rec. After a half century, Pt Alberni will have a public beach on the inlet again. Launch spot for downwinders to HQ!
