201108200004.jpg End of the new breakwater194 viewsThis stupid dolphin/pier with the blue light on it is the friggin thing that ripped my new sail! A tough slog upwind to get around it. Cleared it by 4ft with my board, forgot to look up at the overhang. Snagged the top of my sail and put a 10 inch gash in it. 5 commentsKC777700000

201108200003.jpg New Harrison breakwater160 viewsThere used to be an old breakwater that was only 1 - 2 ft above water level, and so we used to sail on the downwind side of it. Now there is a 50 - 75 yard wind shadow on the lee side of this massive new breakwater so we have launch on the upwind side. At low water it is about 30 ft above water level. Ridiculous waste of money.1 commentsKC777700000

201108200002.jpg The F'ing Breakwater185 viewsLook at this pig. Runs exactly cross to the wind direction, and the end goes up into the wind about 20 yards making it very hard to slog out.6 commentsKC777700000
