Gordons West location

Post by mhjackson123 »

I see that both Gordons Beach and Gordons West are forecast locations (forecast 1 and forecast 2) on this site, but I can't figure out where Gordons West is. The forecast values are often quite different from those at Gordons Beach...

It's that place that can't be named (liked Voldemort..oops), for fear of reprisals by unruly bands of "local" surfers who feel only they belong. Same reason there's never been a cam, it would have to be replaced weekly. The clue is it's west of Gordon's.

Thanks! That helps. I think I know where you mean. Somewhere in between Port Renfrew and Sooke!

Yup, sombrio, not sure why it's a big deal, not many people are willing to hike in with their gear.
