Pipers Lagoon - Pics Tuesday Morning

Post by gwydionjhr »

I've never been to Pipers Lagoon, but tomorrow morning looks like it might be a good combination of wind and available light.

Before I drag my ass outta bed to get up there for early in the morning. Can anyone give me an idea on how many folks might be there?

tough spot to shoot pix, we are usually way way out...best winds typically 10-12 or 1 latest tho this year seems like early birds at 7-9 have gotten worms :?: if....IF it happens ....sounds like Gene, Jelly, myself, DM, maybe Eastside (if he's not victimized himself) at most...maybe one or two other locals max...it is NOT a kiting spot btw ...neck point is...if u know what ur doing...

Best shooting off rocks along pipers point trail I'm thinking but right into the sun :roll: unless you SUP with your gear to the lighthouse rocks :idea:

SUP = Stand Up Paddleboard...

Lighthouse is on an island.

What are the prospects like at Columbia Beach for pics?

Great prospects at CB for photos but only on SE wind direction. Better photo ops at San Pareil (SP) on the NW winds. Should be some descent waves at SP tomorrow if strong NW wind prevails tonight. Pipers should be stronger wind as usual but...
Why aren't YOU out there?
