I followed G in as the winds showed a modicum of improvement. We both easily got up and foiled freely for about 10min. Sadly, winds decreased and making it imperative to stay on foil as it was brutal to get back on foil once off. One of the many developing kelp clumps took me down and it a long minute or two before I could get up again. Although fun, it was constant work pumping both wing and foil to stay up. I tired after 45min or so, having ridden 2hrs of MTB in the morning. Sadly, GPS failed.

On the 130, 5 felt good but bulky, managed board great on port, ran across the lake at will, foiled only on my gybe, made first 3/4 turn, slow learner! right hip doesn't work to stand so starboard is bad, only one standing run, rest on knees, following sea is hard

Went out in light wind with Hrock did a couple jibes and the wind died. Drifted around waiting for another puff. Started getting cool(first time in summer wetsuit)Finally wind came back and some lumps started forming. Gregcan ,tweezer, ULR, Rupdog , and others showed up to play but by this time was too cold to continue.

Waited patiently and it finally came in. HighRocker and Windjunky tagged out as I headed in. Tweezer, RupDog, GregCan, and Gautam already flying around. Used the big foil HPS1050 with 4.5m and it was perfect. A beautiful evening with some nice rollers developed. Had a really nice time even if I did almost hit Greg and Gautam, must be something about the letter 'G'??

Got in early and grabbed the RPS (RockstarParkingSpot) being limited to a 5pm sesh end. Just got in before WJunk with 6m and lifted pretty quickly after a few pumps. Had to end the 6m sesh early as I could see the bladder starting to peek out of the right side leading edge. I deflated the 6m and switched to the 6.2m and had a fun sesh despite the pumping demands. A bit light for the 4m at times and lots of veggies in the water. Made some turns on the mini ramps. Enjoyed the glare. Felt like torturing myself so tried the parawing with the 60L but still small foil and dropping wind. No dice. Hoping the 1099V2 shows up soon.

Chose 5m 951 combo for the first 2/3rds and then 899 for the last 1/3rd. Swells were small with the odd decent set. Good crowd out for Father's Day Eve. Leah out ripping with style while Mitch was on daughter duty. ULR doing circles around me like a good wingman! Tried to ride the incoming tug swell but tough in the crosswind swell. First time on the 60cm fuse - I really liked the increased pump and maneuverability. I tried to do lots of turns again today and feeling good about my heel and toeside gybes on my good side. My switch side heel gybes are ok, but my switch toeside gybes are terrible. I've overcome gybevoidance but I think I have new vice: footswitchvoidance. Time for rehab again. Waves were much better than expected today. Hit a new 2025 record for kelp take downs.

2fer today. Started foiling and finished on the twintip. Water was cold and really moving with the big exchange but there was enough wind to overcome the turbulence. Finally starting to solve the kelp maze on the west side so entering and leaving with the foil are getting easier.

A 6m winds OSR from Paul got me off the couch to give RB a shot. I got there to marginal winds and a new foiler, Grant, slogging in the bay. I was already here, so I rigged my biggest gear. RDog arrived and got his stuff ready. I luckily caught a gust and was able to get to Clover level where there was a patch of foilable winds. Got there as everyone was coming in. Wind was dropping but i had my 6m and dw board so gave it a go. Had a 30 minute 8-10 knot session before the wind dropped to 6. Came in for a break and chat with the fellas. Forcast looked like it would come up again and by 6 it was building and steady at 12-15 knotts. Decided to work on my tacs. Toe side was reasonably consistent and survived a few heal side but in taxi mode. Most heal side were epic crashes. Need to work on the muscle memory.
