Minor little holes at first which got gradually bigger/longer to the point where I decided to quit, much nicer waves than yesterday but still fairly smallish. Took a trip to Kook but things were not great there, best waves halfway. Some decent 4-5 footers off the point at times, mostly ok ramps but they were steeper yesterday. Tried a whack of backies, none close. Great short rides, fun cutbacks right over the reef today with speeeeed :D

Fun session. Gusty wind, choppy at times, but some nice swell and ramps too. Good to see so many people out. Warm, great to fall in without getting cold. Felt very uncoordinated, more so than normal.

Got out on the 8m and was jumping in the bay so I decided to downwind to klover to hit the waves and flats in ross bay... bad idea... :?

Superwindy at the launch but almost nothing off klover and in ross :( .

Dragged into ross and walked shamefully all the way back to the launch

Went out again in some nasty super holey wind, but had a few good jumps and fun to get out. Came in early to watch the game...

It's too bad that guy with the old school rig snapped his mast before he got out, I bet it would have made some interesting entertainment.

Days Verdict - Fun time in the sun with lots of people out, OH annnddd... thank god we don't have to deal with those pesky Canuck's fans again until next year! GO OILERS!

On most reaches I could've used a 4.0, a 4.7 and a 5.5. Really gusty. Some nice small ramps for jumps close in but choppy confused crap outside. Finally said screw it and went home to watch the game.

A little disatisfied with the session to begin with but that quickly changed when the wind picked up a few knots.

Busted my go-joe while attempting some back loops and returned to the beach to remove it. Found a makeshift screwdriver on my key chain.

Somehow inverted lines between landing and pre re-launching and eventually sorted it out. Wind ~25 knots at the western point. Boosting ~20-25ft air again. Noice! more controled low single rotations easier in higher winds. lowe ... (more)

Got off work, walked down to Kook, no sign of my gear in action  calls w/out result so headed home but there the trees got me to grab spare gear. Down to Klover in time to catch biggest wind peak of the day, some great ramps off the point out, a few decent backloops w/ 1 close  awesome rides in down steep faces, wooohooo. Watched Doc at Kook & another sail but nobody came to check it out, bummer

Great sunny break made the wind come up for an extended lunch hour  tough start cuz it looked windy but was holey. Gotta fix that gaping rail wound :? After a brief break it filled in nicely for a whole hour, then the clouds killed it again.

Sail 6 Wave 4 Jump 6 Dropped my gear to the Russians and back to work in those coal mines
