It's not a good sign when Bobson's carrying gear out of the water and saying it's real light. But, I'm such a rebel that I went out anyways. Luckily, the wind gods smiled on me and gave me some PumpNFoil air. It was the best summer foiling this year, frolicking in shorts and t-shirt in the playground with a bunch of other water freaks! Arrived to a solid 10-11kts on the wind meter looking steady across the bay. Went out with the 1100/255 and 115 fuse and went pretty much wherever I wanted. Almost perfect 'Bobson' conditions, just a little light. Sailed for an hour and then others started showing up so I came in as it began to get lighter as a herd of Wingers came out. Bobson and I spent a wonderful hour schlogging in the sun. The CP venturi failed to execute Bernoulli's Principle leaving us with a wonderful upper body pump workout in the sun. It was ridiculously warm and summery and I just couldn't turn down a session regardless of the lack of wind. Got lucky with a couple of flights - likely inspired by a passing female paddleboarder that needed to be shown that flight is possible. My immaturity continually amazes me..... Second day in a row of windsurf foiling again at China Creek. This time, was joined by Pauly, Bert and ws247 kiting. Feels so good to get back at it!! Once the water warms up.....?next week? gonna pump up my (new to me) OR 5 M Wing for a first try at winging with my foil board at China Creek. After taking a couple of wing lessons in LaVentana this past winter, I am gonna love this learning curve!!:)

Won highest bidder on Paul's Axis mast. Woohoo, thanks Paul: Excellent seller, super fast shipping, will buy from again. Now just need to diy the new stringy axis to kraken adapter for a dedicated foil drive mast. And a cheaper option for the bigger sab wings.
Pretty light in the inlet, with the same amounts of the occasional 20kn gust and 0kn hole. China creek must have been good by the looks way up the inlet.

Bright, warm, and a beautiful sunset.
Last 3-4 days conditions have all felt like deja vu. Light, light wind, dropping suddenly with multiple kites on the beach - and a very unforgiving windline to boot. This day was no different.
Have spent the last few days trying to learn the foil so took the twin tip out this time to spend some time cruising. Still a lovely sesh light wind aside with a surprisingly large crowd given the conditions. Also, can throw bankrolls down confidently now, feels good!

Idefix reported that Bobson was foiling on his big sail, so I headed for RB. But, by the time I got there, he had already left, unhappy with the wind. The wind seemed to be building and Bob was doing the Bob thing. So, I headed in and hoped my 6.2m of Cabrinha goodness would save my session. Got to clover late - not much wind but decided to give it a whirl. It got lighter still and I had to lose my upwind to stay on foil. Predictably, the deeper into the bay I went, the lighter the wind became until the kite flopped inelegantly out of the sky - definitely less fun than the foiling part. The swim in and walk up the beach was also only medium fun.

Beauty after work Long beach. Classic sunny afternoon side-shore sea breeze. Tested out the new 10' Long board style SUP with the sail. This thing rides surprisingly well. Way nicer than my last SUP-Sail board. Pumping into swell was easy and very good control despite how big it is. Had a couple party waves with Riley on a Longboard. Reese was out killing it on the prone foil. Went out SUPing the same board for sunset. Stoked.

Another long, sunny, light sesh on the 14. Wind was up and down, quite a few instances of having to sit on the beach for 10-15 while waiting for it to build again.
Near the end of the session decided to take my foil out for the first time ever, wind was maybeeee 10knots. Was only out on the water for 10 minutes before the wind died entirely and kite fell out of the sky. A late afternoon erect Willows flag and a solid "maybe" from Paul's OSR was enough for me to give it a try. I checked out RB on the way to Wil and Bobson confirmed the lightness of the winds there. Arrived to 8-10kts, waited 30 mins and it picked up to 10-12kts. Rigged 7.0m and headed out. Up on the foil right away and foiled for next 40 mins except had to stop once to get some weeds off my foil. Sunny and fairly warm. Marky-Mark (Mark A) came out and did a sweet jump right in front of me. It started to get lighter so I decided to call it a quick session and head home for Steak and Corona's. Fun session. I'm finally feeling like it's as much about playing as it is skill development. Started on the big boy axis 1300. So easy to get foiling but turns really slow. Wind picked up and rigged the 1050 and it was play time. Milked all the wind out of the sessionand left exaused.
