I'm glad Greg got me moving for a morning session at PL. Felt like 5m winds but mine were busted so I went with 6m. Worked well enough for me with the occasional OP moments. Carved out to beyond Clark Rock and then made down wind runs. Swells were confused at the mouth but flag-able. Tried the 4m for my 2nd sesh and was surprisingly well powered. Lots of woo hoos with Gordo. Great day with the locals with lots of wings, fins, and even a kiter on the water.

Almost didn't go with the early morning dip in the wind graph but wind was back up by 9. Tried Sam's Omen Flux 48L. Struggled to get up. 5.0 probably would have helped. Need a couple more sessions on it. Awesome time on the dragonfly. Nice waves. Good the the The Fishes and many others. Need to bring the shortie next time

Another day of sun, winds and water. Rigged for 5.5 windsurfing, but a lull convinced me to windfoil. Good call. Perfect conditions for the gear, and felt comfortable enough to start tweaking sail/boom settings etc. a few minor crashes, and foil jibes not there yet. Finished off with the 5.0 wing for a bit, but need to work on wing mechanics on a sup first. Nice to see old friends and make a few new ones'

Got out at 11:30 with it already hitting 17 knots. Shredded the volar with a 5.7 and hopped on the 99 with the 5.0 once it started to really ramp up. Caught some unintentional serious air on the 99L lol. Kindofsortof landed it but bailed 4 secs later' let's get more of those, but land em >:D

Fun first day on the lake with two new boards. Pretty choppy and a little underpowered but feeling the skills return.
Max 2sec was 26kta for the freewave and 28kts for the Futura. Really surprised how close they are. Likely the Futura will come into its own with a fast 6.5-7m on flatter water.

Two sessions today. Started early in light wind with the Tiki and a 10m. For the first hour I was just cruising and trying some tacks. Then in the middle of the lake I switched boards with Dave C to let him have a go at the Tiki. I was on my new Duke as that is the board Dave was riding. No gps track, watch died sometime in session. Windy windy again! Some good waves to be had all over the lake, and I was all over the lake, out front, down in bay, down by river, upwind above Caycuse river, back out front to finish off with practice on starboard heel tacks, starboard toeside heinekens, starboard backwid riding. Another fantastic lake day! Looks good again today.

Got there nice and early, in time for a site briefing with DavidM. Opted for the 4.0, perfect choice for this multi-session day. Busy in the rigging area, fine mix of windsurf and wings. Good show from the South Island crew sharing the local hospitality. Choppy early morning with nice rollers closer to the Hudson's. Fun waves at the point :))

Got there a bit late and missed the best part but still descent. Nice warm water and a few fun swell. Got flat at the end and did a few speed runs until i got bored . Fun day with Danno, Ang, John, Ryan ,Mark, Vlad, and some of the locals.

Got on the water around noon. Only one other out but soon a handful more showed up. Was perhaps windier al than day before and wind swell up as getting pretty solid. Feeling more confident in the overpowered hate. Couple bigger forwards, back loops and rocket airs as well as some lip smack to rag doll trucks :)

Two Sunset Sessions on a lovely night. One Aloha style the later one in Steamer & Drytop. Sailing alone (sorry to of missed you all morning folks) I wore a life jacket ( c/w with overboard light)
No more smog on the horizon, everything was beautiful out there. Except the overpowering gusts. Need 7 meters of sail for this place. It might even satisfy the gods of Red Skies at Night........

Pipering hot sessions at PL!So nice to be winging on the 4m and still have lots of carving power on sesh one. Lots of folks out with Leddy, Danno, Doc Mark, and many locals. Stayed mainly in the bay and played wingsurfing games near shore. Ventured out with the big boys occasionally in the big swell, but that was mildly terrifying for me.
