Frustrating wind day. Was hoping for a period of 10-15 before the 20 knot+ W forecasted. So got down there extra early. The Kaos wave sail was frustrating when the wind dropped as it was super flat, no draft. Needed good breeze just to bend the battens.
Had a few squalls come through and one was maybe 14 knots or so, and I actually had one point where the board was maybe 95% out of the water and I was rippin across the bay with a bit smile. Beam reach or maybe a bit broad. But that was it for action. Found it really hard to uphaul when it got wavy, but that was probably emphasized by me getting tired.
That one almost-foil made the whole time worthwhile. Was too tired when the 20+ arrived to stay out
