Arrived to calm waters in the am but as soon as the W247 family arrived and got settled into some refreshments the wind started gently hinting of things to come and it just kept building all day!
Found a hole through the shorebreak for a couple of fun wave runs and had to sheet out to get back downwind to my launch spot where I made an entertaining (according to my dry land family) landing......yes more sand in the teeth!! Shouldn't have come in because I just couldn't get through the shorebreak a second time!!
Finished off my first New Year's Day Sail with drinks, snacks and great music in the Windkushine!!! Thanks for a great day at the beach to all that had the vision to attend!
