Maiden voyage of the Kona. I'll post details in the 'Kona Odyssey' thread for anyone interested. But THAT was winter water play at its most enjoyable - sun, quite warm, lots of wind to plane, no worries about the wind dying etc, fun waves - I could only see the shoulders and head of Big D when we were in troughs one wave apart once (and we were BOTH still sailing :lol: ). Would have been happier on a 5.8 to start, but more down & out and wind dropped a little and then it was just right.
Ross Bay is awesome with big gear!
