Bit of a contrast from the tropics, but sweet to score a session off the ferry from travelling from Venezuela! Super smooth and consistent 5.5 conditions with small chop. Looped a bit and had a breakthrough day on psyching up for grubbies! Tried 8 of them and only managed to do a weird slidey/loopy thing on most. I did slide 3/4 of the way on 2 and water started from them, but I've got a ways to go before coming close to claiming any. Fun to knock another mental barrier down! Hands were frozen until I had the sense to wear my mitts. STOKED!
