Well that was rather lacklustre. Another Glide out when I arrived and bwd ripping... briefly spotted the fabled 100% Aluula wing vanishing into the distance. I got a few flights and then it dropped to just enough to be annoying. Tempting to pump and would sometimes work for a few seconds... quite tiring. For some reason, I had a much easier time pumping on to foil on starboard tack, my non-dominant stance -- I think something to do with pumping into the swell. Coming back on port tack I would almost get on foil and then the swell would pass under me and I would lose speed going down the back of the wave. Seemed counter intuitive -- would have thought going with the swell would help. Slogged back and called it a night. Saw davey_k and j_dog kiting upwind... probably should have done that instead tonight...
