Arrived at 10am with Winddoc and the wind was just filling in. It looked light but the waves were nice so I rigged the 4.5 anyway. Got on the water and it was the weirdest thing - powered up 4.5 and big clean glassy waves. It felt like Maui. Tried 1 fwd and some backs then the real wind came. 30kts, powered 4.0 and BIG meaty waves. Excellent waveriding and jumping and powerful Oregon Coast style waves. Probably the best CB day I've ever had. Winddoc landing lots of backs. Everyone doing big jumps and long waverides. Fantastic.
A little cold and I sprained/broke my toe after I landed on the gear trying a stupid backloop. Other than that it was great.
