First time windsurfing in months, almost 2 years since my last wave sailing session! Forgot how much work fun wave sailing was, lots of work but so much fun! Felt weird stepping on a windsurf board, first jibe my back foot almost missed the board. Then caught my first ride and ya it's the best feeling ever! SC delivered lots of wind and super nice sized waves! First hour was the best, every reach out there was a wave, then things got bigger but a little harder to find and line up. By the end I couldn't hold on to the 4.7 so packed up and went to check out long beach. Not much happening there unfortunately. Watched Jesse try to make it work but I decided not to go out. So nice to be back on the Island, the King of Camping C36 made it much more comfortable and helped me score a few nice SUP sessions, the last one at Wick was one of my best SUP sessions ever, big playful bombs giving us nice rights, perfect way to end the trip. Great to see some of the Island crew again as well.
