WOW!! Great surprise session. Drove to IV and it was <10 so looked at BWD reports and Vic Airport was 10-15kts. So drove to Bazan Bay and it was raining and 10kts. Waited for 20 mins rain stopped and started to clear, then wind picked up to 12-15kts so rigged the 6.0m flyer. Got out on the water quick and 2!pumps and BOOM, foiling!! Never came off the foil in an hour and 15 mins. Touched down in a couple gybes but right back up. Perfect condition for first hour. Sailed over to Sidney spit and then all the way back into the bottom end of Bazan Bay then a couple reaches and up to the bottom end of James Island then over to the pier by Sidney. Amazing session!! Wish I had a foiling buddy to share the stoke with. This might be my new fav spot. Wind started to turn SW so called it. Lots of older lookie loos walking along the path, asking question about foiling. Today was 9.5 out of 10. Woohooo!
