Easy morning at China Creek. Very foggy. Started to lift and wind started coming down the inlet then 500 meters before it made it to CC it stopped and retreated. Outflow built at CC. Waited for 30 mins and then it filled 15 kts so pulled out the 4.5m Sailworks Flyer. SB and W247 showed up just as I was heading out was a nice surprise. SB is the smoothest foiler I've seen. Not foil gybing yet but from liftoff to landing she is sooooo smooth on the big Starboard foil. I Had to pump out of the gybes a to start as there were some holes but then filled in stronger 15-20 for an hour then ramped up to 25+ and the 4.5m became work to hang on to so pulled the plug and derigged, packed up and headed for home. 3 hours campsite to home with a quick Tim Hortons drive thru for some needed Java. Great last trip of the year. Warm water, sunshine and wind each day was fantastic. Got to foil with my PA/CC friends and relaxing camping.
