8) Launched at Ross Bay in super flat water, very relaxing sailing when it's that flat. Wind was more west than usual which made it easy to cruise up to cook street to join Kus and some kiters for a few runs. Someone needs to draw me a map of the reefs out there, got a little sketched out cruising in to the beach when powered up with my half meter+ fin. Kus seemed to know where the rocks are, he was practicing flippy tricks of some flavour right at the beach.
Sailing back downwind to Ross was fun but a bit tiring on the arms and legs. Had to unhook and hop out of the footstraps for some of it to get the right angle. Surfing waves with both feet on the back of the board and the sail opened right up is kinda neat.
Sweet! 8)
