Missed the epic waves at 3rd Ave this morning and went to White Rock early. Glad I wore my dry-suit as the clouds stayed over the sun for most of the session. Launched at East Beach, but spent an hour trapped at West Beach for a long lull. Finally re-rigged on the East side of the pier to rising wind and saved the session. Might have foiled. The waves were not as big as I expected.
