Great first try at Gordons. Put up the 13m to get overpowered right away - wind on beach at the point is way lighter that on water. Headed out with 9m to the outside (the inside had almost died while downsizing:roll: ) to see what was going on with the windsurfes to encounter a tumultuous playground of swell and big wind. Went back in to tell Windpendent the inside had died and launch his 8, then returned to smash up some more outside. Smoothish water and big and steep surfable swell with no-brainer jumping ramps. Windsurfers headed back in after a spell due to dropping wind so I figured it best to follow suit after a while - a good thing since I was still late picking up wife. Mako worked a treat for the surfy stuff. Good co-launching with Windependent, and got my first real life glimpse of Jimmy Lewis in his element.
