Good progression session. Was able to foil out quite a distance and back. Upwind at times both directions. Seemed to evade kelp for the whole session. Key to success was the Bridal Barge SUP board - Thanks John. Once up I wanted to go faster and found that compared to small kite board and foil I needed so much more input to direct the board. Very similar to windsurfing. Some practise body dragging in water under wing. Felt muscles in places I have not ever used. Maybe time to try a more high aspect wing and slightly smaller board?? Double leash management still seemed to be a head scratcher as once up I would have leashes keeping me in bondage in all sorts of strange contortions. Stoked!!!
