I echo Bobson's report of "AMAZING", from the Willows view. There wasn't much when I got there, but the ripples told me it was coming. I was on my old faithful lift-every-time Cab6, and by mid bay it was 12kt, I was on foil all the way out to the Islets and back to the teahouse. There was some swelly bits to play in out in the channel and the wind was gusting to 20ish occasionally overpowering the 6m. I'm lucky that Cab is so solid and predictable and forgiving for newbs! Lots of time on foil except for the occasional mid bay holes that came up that I couldn't pump through. So very summery sunny conditions, I was way overheated in my drysuit. Fantastic session and I had the place to myself. Perfect for me and my anti-social tendencies. Jack came out near the end and was playing out in the channel with a big smile on his face. I came back in after an hour and a bit to switch out GoPro batteries and then played for another 20min or so before dusk started to settle in. That was truly a wonderful session, just missing the usual suspects!
