Landed at pipes since Rowland rd was looking a little to knarly for me.. what a good decision that was. Hauled big blue off the spaceship and figured a 5.7 would be good in the lagoon. Got so close to planing I decided to get on the carve and try the smaller board finally. Seems almost uphaulable if I don't take my sweet time but im sticking to the water start for a board like that lol. When I got up on it wow.... what a dramatic difference from the 160L... so fast! Put a 3.5 on it to start since the wind picked up but wasnt enough.. only for the odd gust. Will try and catch the tide tomorrow for another sesh, even earlier than today hopefully. Cant wait to ditch big blue.. Saw 2 kiteboarders in the lagoon as well.
