Arrived to The DOG coming off the water saying it was a bit up and down and possibly a bit more down. Well my friend, Challenge Accepted!! His beautiful wife showed up and started singing....not sure what that was about but she seems like a really nice lady. Anyways, headed out in what looked marginal, meaning less than 10kts. Some short gusts were coming though so pumped like a madman and got up on the foil...WOOHOO!! hit a lull and came off the foil even though I was still pumping like a BOBSON. Well, an hour and a half into my fitness session of pumping and I got some good rides but only 1 foiling gybe...?? There was a lot more Schlogson than Cool-Foil-Dood and a lot of pumpy-pumpersons but in the warm summer temp and sunshine and my sleeveless 3/2 wetsuit it was a pretty sweet fitness/tanning session. Oh ya, I was using my 95cm fuselage as my 115cm fuse isn't happy so had to stand well back on the board to keep it flying which wasn't the greatest. The 95cm fuse definitely needs a bit more wind than that. 11 minutes of foiling is better than nothing. Hoping for some more wind on the weekend.
