Going 20kts in about 10kts of wind is pretty sweet. Maybe the gusts were 11 or 12kts.? Arrived to H-Rock paddling in glass. Looked like there were some gusts over on the 10 mile point side. Tweez and ULR were throwing rocks as a gaggle (4) of us headed out to try out luck. No wetsuit today, just shorts and rawhide, so nice! I schlogged over to Jemmy Jones and got some some rides in the gusts and who knew there was a drone circling over there. As I headed back it was getting lighter <5 kts and Greg (needs nickname)was well up Caddy Bay in a no wind spot. I barely got back to the launch and derigged and by the time I was done Greg was 100m from the boat launch so decided it was good to leave. Before I left met KF Matt rigging his catamaran and lent him some electrical tape. Definitely the cat would have been a better choice today. It was a good day, lots of pumping practice in some super flat water. Too bad it wasn't more steady as it would have made for some great speed runs! Headed to Nitinaht on Friday. WooHoo!!
