I thought the wind would come up and so tried the 12m. It probably would have been good enough if I wasn't a damn fool and did my first reach right toward the Spiral Staircase. I was enveloped in the no-wind zone immediately and had to swim in and deflate my kite and do a long walk of shame. Back at Clover I pulled out my 14.5 Aluula Flite and damn if that thing is not magical. I had a terrific Tiki session with gentle but proper power, never doubting that the kite would be there for me. It was fabulous. Awesome pre-birthday day session.
