Arrived at Ross after looking in vain for whitecaps off Cook and thought "I skipped dinner for THIS?" However, Tweezer was paddling way out to near the point, and shortly got foiling and so that got Gus and I rigging. Long slog out sometimes in nothing, and the first reach after hitting the wind line was pumping practice with no flight. Tacked and got going the other way, and the angle of the current against wind on port made foiling easy. Got nervous about swimming in after a few and wobbled into the beach. But some stronger puffs building near shore tempted me out again and it was fun to play off Clover Point with Tweezer and Gus in a band of pressure and bigger waves. There were weird cross waves for a while that would be a nightmare in most boats but were fun foiling. Made some foiling gybes and some that touched down but stayed dry and that makes the session so much more fun!
