All the webcams looked too wild for me, but Willows was flat, minimal shorebreak, gusty, with over 20kt winds showing at Cad. Bigger winds without a shorebreak and tough swell should be ok for my novice skills. 4m lifted easily and I headed upwind towards MTI. Then I got hit with OP gusts that likely approached 40kts. I feared getting my wing ripped out of my hands. I already lost and, luckily, caught my wing at RB 2 days ago. I did a few laps until my anxiety exceeded my joy and called no mas! Still worth it!
