I saw that the wind came up early and headed down. It was lightly breezy and perfect wind for my big kite. I got a launch from my stunt kite friend (whose name escapes me again) and enjoyed an easy reef start given how southerly the wind was. I enjoyed another dreamy easy light wind cruise, cutting kelp at each end of my tacks at Clover or Finlayson Point. It was so southerly that I thought I might try to go past Finlayson Point but I aborted the attempt because the wind was quite light around the point and I didn't want to get stuck on the other side. Some good tack turns and much general enjoyment. Unfortunately, the wind lulled before I had had my fill and I headed in. I got in cleanly despite the dropping wind. I was all alone today for the whole session and that is okay but it is more fun to share the stoke.
