    I followed G in as the winds showed a modicum of improvement. We both easily got up and foiled freely for about 10min. Sadly, winds decreased and making it imperative to stay on foil as it was brutal to get back on foil once off. One of the many developing kelp clumps took me down and it a long minute or two before I could get up again. Although fun, it was constant work pumping both wing and foil to stay up. I tired after 45min or so, having ridden 2hrs of MTB in the morning. Sadly, GPS failed.
