Xcel wetsuits: advice needed

Post by morewind »

I was just down at coastline trying out new Xcel suits. They should refrigerate that fitting room  I'm not sure to go with a 6-5-4 or a 5-4-3. Was thinking the 6-5-4 might be too toasty for windsurfing :?:

any comments on these suits? durability? 6-5-4 vs 5-4-3
BWD has the 6-5-4, so I might go with that one to be cool like him

thanks for the help,
Mike

Hi,

I have a 5-4-3 super stretch and it is great. I did feel a bit chilled at nitnat when the wind was really blowing though.
Have you checked Switch board shop (Colwood Corners)? The prices are great, and the staff are really helpful!

I've used my 5/4/3 in jan. rember when it snowed at the begining of the year.. well surfing for 5 hours no problem had my booties and hood up, the only hard part was getting changed out of it!

If you want something that will last and keep you warm I recommend the UHC (ultra hot combo) from hotline 5\4. It is well worth the extra money.

MoreWind-dude, go with the ONeil 3-2. It's never used in the summer and almost warm enough in the winter. It'll last 4-ever! Brrrrrrr!!! :D
