OR Mako fin configuration/mutant?

Unread post by KUS »

Hi – can someone please comment on the fin configuration for my 150 Mako? It has three fin mounts in the back and a single in the centre front. Right now I’m running two centres and I wonder what the mutant thing is all about and how I would use the other two fin configurations? I was really wishing it would bite in a little better yesterday, but the rear fin seem to be sliding out a fair bit, and the edge wasn’t holding enough to slice things by itself

Also what’s the mutant foot/strap position? I was hoping for an easy answer rather than having to read 50 forum posts. Thanks 🙏

My 165 came with 3 long fins for the back and footstrap placements for parallel riding.. never heard of a 150 like that though
