i have heard of some guys in squamish that take a helicopter and drop supplies off at a number of locations in a valley, then they get dropped off upwind and kite downwind through it for 8 days or some crap....sounds awesome

it would be an incredible sensation kiting up hill with lots of powder in 2 ft of fresh and have it be silent....not like a snowmobile!

steering skate in the back! i bet that thing would be squirly....my dad made an iceboat when i was just born, we also had one which could reach speeds of 60mph
