Yeah I can't find a link to sign anything. I don't hunt but if anyone is going to it should be locals.

I believe it is the second link moreforce thanks
I also believe locals should get to eat , many people province wide hope to get draws for moose or elk, last time I had to wait 5 years to get a chance and a moose will last me two years in my freezer , and have only ever had 1 elk draw in my life and most go 20 years without a chance .
If this goes through I nor many may never get a draw again.
Ok the guides bring money to the province but they are mostly big game hunters just there for the thrill ,
It's my livelihood though as well as many others .
Thanks everyone for listening

It would be interesting to see how much they actually bring in.
Resident (BC) hunters spend quite bit gearing up for those once (or twice) in a lifetime draws.
They're the ones travelling around the province staying in hotels and the small town huting stores and eating in restaurants for the pre-season scouting, buying quads, gas, that new bigger bore rifle for moose/elk, gps, packs, etc...
As somebody just getting into it, and enjoying my first time having a freezer full of hormone free/organic/lean/ethically raised meat, I'm wondering if I chose a pretty crappy time to start.

Just a heads up for any hunters out there (or any non-hunters interested in attending), there is an allocation meeting happening locally, it would be great for any of you who it affects to come out and show some support:
