That is absolutely sick! My surfagon('84 vanagon) is now running with no oily puddle behind. I'll share some pics when I get to interior. Expect to see it many places where it's windy this summer!

Volkswagon has said the camper will return but as an electric vehicle, <a href="/http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor ... ic-vehicle" target="_blank">http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor ... vehicle</a>, better hope it's sunny when you get to Nitnat, with decent solar panels, or you won't be making it home. Guess you could bring a wind turbine, and hope you're not skunked.

So is this an ideal windsurf vehicle? I vote no!

As long as the the rocker panels, and area near the water hookup aren't rusted, It's a pretty good project. Super easy vehicle to work on, you can drop the engine with a few 2x4s and boat winch if needed..
