Ryan: I walk dogs @ I.V. & will be looking for your board ... I will ask the other dog folks if they have seen it ... I assume all the macho chat in this thread is meant light heartedly ...
Happy to be Kooky .

Definition:Beginner or inexperienced surfer that's less than adept at surfing. Generally an insult. or put another way:Beginner who gets in everyone’s way.
Came from surfing but it is now widely used in other boardsports. Generally used in referenc to beginners or people that do really stupid things, or people that do not know the rules or etiquette of a sport.

Fellow approached me on Sat at IV and said that he found a board at the south end of IV beach last Sunday. Couldn't tell me what kind but could say that there wasn't a name or number on it. could be yours
PM me and I'll give you his number

I think it came from those guys trying Cook Street for the first time (after having mastered cambered 6.0 sailing at Nitinat during an average day) in mid winter during a 3.0 squall when everyone is huddled on the beach waiting it out and instead of wondering why everyone was doing that someone went out, got catapulted by the first shore break, had their rig ripped out of their hands, had it fly end over end then into the side of the cliff and place the fin through their main sail panel.....and then went home......
ahhh, just guessing here tho
