After having one for a few season, I have to say this generation is good for local and looks really cool, but unless you've swapped the engine they are a bit too slow on the freeway and up hills such as the malhat. Plus a bit small, with the engine in the back you can't get gear under the seat.

We've had a roof top box for kite gear. Personally I've enjoyed the slow lumbering ride directly overtop of the front wheels. It's a completely different (enjoyable) experience :)
