VANCOUVER ISLAND WINDTALK

Hi, I'm new to Victoria, and excited to get out kiting. Can anyone help give me an overview of the best spots to go kiting (I'd be looking for safe/easy launches and landing), and the best way(s) to check wind forecast for those spots?

Under Info, if you go to "Spot Guide", the orange icons are the more common spots and have info if click on them. Also, that map shows weather and tidal stations, the other icons.
