I just received my new board (5'6" 105L Quatro Wing Drifter Pro). 66" long & 28" wide

Of course none of my current travel bags will fit a board this wide.

I'm looking for a strong padded bag that will give the board some protection from being handled by airline employees and baggage moving equipment. The few bags I thought would work are not available.

Any suggestions on suitable board bags or a local shop that might make a custom bag?

Armstrong makes heavy duty bags that fit quatro well. Check the zenlifestyles link on the home page for local stock. But you'll still want to add lots of cardboard and or Styrofoam around the board for flying. Quatro wing drifters are super light, relatively cheap and super fragile. So bring some repair tape.
