checking river status?

does anyone know of a website or some easily accessed resource for finding out the condition of rivers thoughout the island

Have a look at http://surfkayak.org/links.html there are links there to quite a few rivers on the island.

Colin check out this web site. I use it in the winter for temps and accumulated precip for avalanche forcasting but it also gives you river level info. Some of them are not always on line or give different data but it might help you out. If you dont know the river you are looking for goto the map search icon the left hand side and it should bring up a map with red dots. Those area the remote stations.
