Tying your lines

Post by JL »

Heres the knot for tying sleeved or 'Q' line............. http://www.powerline-sports.com/knots.html Heres a knot for tying 2 pieces of 'Q' together. http://brmrg.med.virginia.edu/knots/barrell.html I've been practicing the 'barrel' knot with thick rope & then trying it on a piece of 'Q' when I've got it down.

I've used the barell knot and it worked great. The beauty of Q-break it, tie a knot and away you go.
Its all about the adventure and stoke!

knot known to some as the fisherman, basically you tie two grannies around the standing end, opposite of one another. The only trick is to have the X's mesh, as you can tie them opposite of one another, 50-50 chance 8)

For added strength you can also do another wrap which results in the double fisherman. http://www.aqvi55.dsl.pipex.com/knots/f ... herman.htm

The tough part is once under tension, good luck trying to open the knot :?
