Juan de Fuca Crossing

Congratulation to all involved in the crossing. Well done! Another giant leap for kitekind. I believe $2000 plus dollars was raised for the Burn Fund as well. And for their next trick . . . . .

Way to go everyone!! How long did it take and were the legs a burnin' once you got over there? Holding an edge for that long must hurt.

Is it too late to give money for this great cause?

1 hour 10 sounds fast! Anyone remember how long the poleheads used to take when they had that race years ago? You didn't answer the question about the legs burning?

I would have to say that I was quite suprised on how fast it took.
Yes the left leg hurt a little on the other side but just had to change direction for a little while, just to get the circulation back.
There is some amazing sailing spots on the other side. I would have to say that it is worth a trip over there just to sail
weather depending. Dungeness spit" The view of the mountains were amazing when you are sailing under them.
