does anyone know how the sailing is over there,on lake simcoe??north of Toronto????

Hey Ralph. I think there is a windsurfing website for Lake Simcoe. Do a search, you should find something. From what I understand, it's decent wind in the summer and ice sailing in the winter. Sounds cold to me :shock: I've got some relatives who live in that area and windsurf there so if you need more info, let me know and I'll send you their e-mail address.

im from barrie and grew up on simcoe. the wind is pretty gusty and patchy but it comes up. not too steady though. much beter places

hehe yes but nothing is better than soemone in real life who tells you how it is somwhere isn't it???and it's not easy to find the windiest place of the great lakes on google...

Windsurfing in Ontario stinks, move to the west coast. I did 2 years ago and it is amazing!!! 45 solid days last summer.....and you can sail in the winter too.
