VANCOUVER ISLAND WINDTALK

Has anyone gone windsurfing at Kailua beach on Oahu. Contemplating going next Dec-Jan.....any info would be great.

I was there for a week in February a few years back. Wind was pretty mellow, usually 6.0 ( I'm 180 lbs ) for an hour or so in the morning, mellower thru mid-day, then back up for a few more hours of better 5.5 - 6.0 in the late afternoon. Nice side-on conditions, great mellow spot, good for the whole family & non-sailors. Kinda fun to hang out in Robby's mom and father's shop.
