Anybody turning 50 this year (like Grant Watson and Jimmy L....!), who wishes they were 50, or feels like they are 50, come on down to Island View Beach on Sunday March 29, from 1pm onwards....

Bring whatever you want to eat, share if you want, & BYOB.
Bring a chair... blankets....whatever to stay cozy...
I'll make some cakes, and there will be at least one barbeque available.

Well, I feel like I'm 70 these days but I'll be there with the kusschine to provide another fridge, tarp anchor & tunes

No fire permits in Vic unfortunately so if anyone has one of those propane campfire thingies we could use that

Do I remember correctly that the venue might change to Cook St. if that was where the wind was going to be?

And given the Enviro Canada forecast for westerlies tomorrow afternoon, is this a likely scenario?

The initial idea was just that Paul, but we are sticking with Island view because the park is more user friendly.

Happy Birthday Grant and JL! Was planning on being there to help celebrate but can't make it Sunday. Seems that a disporportionally large group of BWD wind-addicts were born this coming week ...... wonder what the significance of that is
