Dudes - take that video off the internet before it's too late! That would just generate more traffic on the water. It's such a good vid it will sell the lake to the world. Please private viewing only. Keep the lake hidden and not found by the whole west coast of north america.

Don't get me wrong about the video - The photography, production, Dale's smiling face and Mark's awesome skim tricks are sick! Nice work Dave!..but I think it is sort of funny to talk about a 'hidden gem' and try to tell all about it on the internet. Why? There are only so many places like this, we all need to practice a little bragging restraint. This is the kind of video that will have many hits and propel it to high ranking on youtube and other kite sites and many many more will know and come. I like the pristine setting and would like it to remain like that as long as possible. Not that a single vid will do much but can you see where I'm coming from?

I have nothing to do with the video. one of my wife's friends posted it up on her facebook. I think those responsible are listed at the end of the video.
personally, i think the lake is hardly a secret (its just a pain in the ass to get to) however there is some rich irony there.

Well fine - just don't make a video telling everyone how awesome it is or the JR car and camera smashers will come after you!
ps - I have no affiliation with them.
pss - wait - you already made a video like that - and uuhhmmm... so did I.

I think it was Yogi Berra (the NY Yankee baseball great) who said this about Coney Island or was it Niitnat Lake:
"Nobody goes there anymore; it's too crowded."

We've just got to try and make it look less fun.

the moderators could just remove this and any related lake thread, cam link and all sailing logs for this forbidden place
or we could let a few Anacondas or big whites thin the crowd, whichever survives....like they thin the tourists in Florida
