I wonder if anyone has an opinion on this sail. I'm considering the 6.4 as a light wind cruiser/blaster to replace a very old sail I use a lot. I'm no very big so I like what they say about it's light weight but not sure about the budget-minded part. Although I'm certainly budget-minded I've found this can mean the bit of gear is not that great. Are the battens carbon? If not it's probably not so good. Otherwise, it looks like it would sit well on a 9ft. slalom board and offer some non-competitive fun. Whaddyathink?

Jumpin Jim - I bought a 6.4 winduro last summer (2003). I use it as a light air sail with my 107L freestyle board. I wanted something to get me planing around 12-15 knots. My impressions ... this sail has really increased my time on the water. On average, I'd say that I use it 50% of the time. It has a pretty good range, although, I'm a bit disappointed with the low end. I notice that others with 5.8s plane nearly the same time as I do. It's a light sail which is good for trying tricks at gordons, nitinat, etc, but I'd keep it far away from the surf (like JR). Would I buy it again? likely, but maybe I'd go for something smaller, like a 6.0 ... Good luck sail hunting.
Here's the sail in action- the yellow one.
